I’ve always used our small-town vet out of convenience and never had a bad experience — but I’ve also never had a vet or staff get down on the floor to meet my dogs at their level or say, “I won’t push them if they’re not ready.” If you treat your pets like your kids, Dr. Parra and her team are the ones you want. They ran tests I’d never even been offered before and sent us home with clear answers and a treatment plan. Dr. Parra and Patricia took the time to explain everything and even cleared up some misinformation from past vets. My dogs were truly loved on and cared for — I honestly think they’ll be excited to go back!”

“If you want an engaged, enthusiastic, and individualized pet care experience, bring your furry (or scaly, feathered, etc.!) friends to Kannon's Kabins! I have boarded my dog Kenai here many times, and recently he's been attending daycare! I love how the staff involve the owners with daily report cards, access to a live video feed, and adorable pictures that keep us feeling connected to our pets even when we're away. They make it a point to build positive relationships with every animal and adjust care to fit their individual needs. And they prioritize ensuring a SAFE environment! I could go on and on, but the biggest tell is how happy my dog is when I pick him up. Most of the time he doesn't even want to go home! The smile says it all! If you’re a daycare package holder and your pup is scheduled on a day we’ll be closed for daycare, Romy will be reaching out tomorrow to see if you’d like to move your day — we’ll make sure everyone still gets plenty of playtime this season! 🐾 Our fabulous groomer, Maggie, sets her own schedule, so if you have questions about holiday grooming availability, feel free to message her directly! ✂️🐶 And don’t worry — even on days listed as “closed,” our amazing staff will still be here caring for all our boarding guests.
